This initial phase of the shearing shed conversion focused on establishing the foundational elements of the new bathroom and toilet facilities. Key tasks completed during this stage included:

Replacement of the entire subfloor in the designated bathroom and toilet areas, followed by the application of a slow screed and tiling.
Construction of internal walls, lined with Axon cladding, which required precise scribing around existing live edge timber posts.
Installation of the shower base and associated wall linings.
Installation of rough sawn jarrah door frames, complemented by the fitting of recycled barn doors.
Replacement of the existing floor slats with new jarrah flooring.
Installation of six reclaimed windows throughout the conversion area.
Replacement of the existing roof sheeting, which included the installation of anticon insulation for thermal regulation.
